Mission Sweets: A Dessert TourPaula of Chile Lindo

Celebrating all that is sweet in the world, this
dessert tour takes you to the sweet spots in the Mission
and the desserts are as varied as they are interesting,
like the neighborhood itself.
..Sweet

The Mission Sweets Dessert and Chocolate Tour-leads you inside this colorful neighborhood known for it's great culinary tradition. We are on a quest to satisfy your sweet tooth and as you'll see we couldn't have come to a sweeter or richer destination. Besides the quality of the food, which is the result of fierce competition, the diversity of the food is probably the biggest draw to this area's food scene. Our Mission Sweets Food Tour takes you into this diverse and delicious world.

Like our other ExploreSF Mission Food Tours, our dessert tour will not be the same tour two days in a row. There are so many choices for wonderful stops for dessert, we couldn't just pick a few, so we will try to go to them all. Making a rotation every few days, from cupcakes to hand-crafted ice cream, from pie to small batch chocolates, from Maple-Bacon donuts to Whoopie Pies, if it's sweet, and it's good, it's here for us to discover as we Explore The Mission District for the best desserts in the city.

Our guides, your hosts, all live in this neighborhood and know these streets intimately. Join us as we find the sweetest spots that this gourmand neighborhood has to offer.

Learn about this Mission's past as well as it's interesting culinary history while trying some of the best sweets that the SF has to offer. From hand-crafted chocolates, traditional American pies, the best ice cream you've ever had, authentic latin postres, and the best desserts made with molecular gastronomy,  you will leave with a sugar rush and newfound knowledge of the Mission.
Ticket includes all tastings. This tour is a walking tour, walking just over 1 mile at a relaxed place with plenty of opportunities to sit down.
