  • Parrots!

Wild Parrots in San Francisco? Yes there are officially at least two flocks of wild Parrots here. These Parrots have evolved into a brand new species of parrot indigenous to San Francisco.

Get a bird’s eye view of Golden Gate Park, from its highest point, Strawberry Hill, to the height of the Summer of Love, Hippy Hill.

Navigate the interior trails of the park for an up-close look at the tallest monument, Prayer Book Cross. Take in a waterfall, from the top of an island, as it cascades into one of the many ponds, lakes and streams scattered throughout the park.

At ground level, there are many historic clubs
catering to athletes, artists, anglers, and the hobbyist.

Reflect among the beautiful redwoods within the National Aids Memorial Grove and Heroes Grove.

This 6 mile run (approximately 1-1/4 hours),
is mainly on dirt trails,

including single track with stair climbs and some pavement.
