Explore San Francisco

Alcatraz Island has long been one of San Francisco's most recognizable landmarks and most popular destinations, almost everyone who comes to San Francisco wants to explore the island and infamous prison. Another highlight of any San Francisco visit is the food! The variety and sheer number of independent neighborhood restaurants is a complete surprise to most first-time visitors. Instead of fast-food eateries and corporate chain restaurants serving the bland and overly familiar, San Francisco has one-of-a-kind neighborhod icons serving home-spun, tried and true recipes and cutting edge cuisine to eager patrons.

Our Explore Alcatraz Tour Packages combine the best food tour locations in the City with the most popular island in the Bay. Choose The Mission District, or North Beach & Chinatown and experience the City as a local as you have the time of your life. Our authentic food tours are full meals with each course served at a different establishment, in the Mission District we have our most popular food tour: Mission North, a food and drink tour, a vegetarian tour, or a dessert tour. On the North Beach and Chintatown Food Tour you will be savoring the San Francisco variety of cuisines from China and Italy. Explore Alcatraz Tour Packages from Explore San Francisco are an absolute must-do for anyone wanting a unique San Francisco experience!

How it works: Because Alcatraz is part of The National Park System, Alcatraz tickets are made available to local tour operators who must combine the tickets with their own tour offerings.  We have combined Alcatraz Tickets with very affordable tour packages so that you can get Alcatraz tickets without the worry or expense.  Please note: Alcatraz tours must be sold as part of a package and cannot be sold separately.
